چکیده

In this paper, we propose a relaxation-based method with Fast Automatic Differentiation (FAD) for solving nonlinear problems. We called this method as R-FAD in this paper. By the proposed R-FAD the large circuits of neurons having complex nonlinear and Piece-Wise Linear (PWL) functions are modeled in terms of macro-models and can be analyzed by relaxation-based algorithm keeping the structure of Jacobian matrix. In this method, the differential elements of the complex nonlinear function f(x) are computed by the FAD and added to the Jacobian matrix. In simulation, we had interesting synchronization phenomena. Key–Words: Relaxation, Fast Automatic Differentiation, Nonlinear Function, Piece-wise Linear Function, Cellular Neural Network

Fast Mux-based Adder with Low Delay and Low PDP

Adders, as one of the major components of digital computing systems, have a strong influence on their performance. There are various types of adders, each of which uses a different algorithm to do addition with a certain delay. In addition to low computational delay, minimizing power consumption is also a main priority in adder circuit design. In this paper, the proposed adder is divided into s...

Simulation of Store Separation using Low-cost CFD with Dynamic Meshing

The simulation of the store separation using the automatic coupling of dynamic equations with flow aerodynamics is addressed. The precision and cost (calculation time) were considered as comparators. The method used in the present research decreased the calculation cost while limiting the solution error within a specific and tolerable interval. The methods applied to model the aerodynamic force...

A Fault Diagnosis Method for Automaton based on Morphological Component Analysis and Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition

In the fault diagnosis of automaton, the vibration signal presents non-stationary and non-periodic, which make it difficult to extract the fault features. To solve this problem, an automaton fault diagnosis method based on morphological component analysis (MCA) and ensemble empirical mode decomposition (EEMD) was proposed. Based on the advantages of the morphological component analysis method i...

Modeling and Simulation of Substrate Noise in Mixed-Signal Circuits Applied to a Special VCO

The mixed-signal circuits with both analog and digital blocks on a single chip have wide applications in communication and RF circuits. Integrating these two blocks can cause serious problems especially in applications requiring fast digital circuits and high performance analog blocks. Fast switching in digital blocks generates a noise which can be introduced to analog circuits by the common su...
